Historically significant, single production and well
documented, this 1911 "American Eagle" 7 passenger
touring automobile was built between 1908-11 by Martin
Burzynski for the specific purpose of showcasing a new
patented aluminum wheel/tire sidewall, designed to be an
early
blowout free tire, that was soon abandoned. Truly a 1 of
kind specimen that exemplifies the early development of
the American Automotive history...
Resting on a museum quality restoration performed by
Clyde Wade (post Harrah's closure). Extremely well
documented with a large binder containing an extensive
collection of "Historic Original Documents" dating back
to 1908 including all correspondence regarding parts for
creation (Timken-Wisconsin, Salisbury, Morse, etc),
original Patent Petition for the "Pneumatic Mechanical
Vehicle Tires", Certificate of Patentability w/wax seal,
original Application for Certificate of Title, original
bill of sale when Frances Burzynski sold the vehicle to
Bernard Polland in 1947 (see 50+ documents posted
below)... |
