This is truly "One of the Most Popular & Memorable Street Rods Ever Built" It's cutting edge all aluminum body design was forward thinking then and still is today. A 2-1/2 yr collaboration, by well known Industrial Designer "Don Varner" and Master Fabricator "Ron Covell". We felt it's story was best told by the builder, at the owners request, Mr. Covell has graciously allowed us to share this detailed private viewing of the building of "The California Star", from design to completion...
