Absolutely exquisite, stunning and almost lickable are
just a few adjectives that one might use to describe
this wonderfully dressed and very rare specimen.
Yes, it's an "all" original "Henry" body in
exceptionally well preserved low mile condition. Grab
your drool towel as we move along...
Whistle straight lines and mirror like finishes invite
you in for a closer look! High quality "Sikkens"
materials and professional craftsmanship create a
surface that appears as though it is miles deep and
about as black as black can get. Subtle jamb to jamb
handpainted red pinstripes complete the ultimate finish
very nicely. Beautifully restored factory trim, bumpers,
rear luggage rack, original "Ahooga" horn and soft black canvas convertible
top. The stance is just right while rolling on chrome
wire wheels wrapped in big-n-little radial rubber...
Residing behind the factory 25 louver hood sides is a H &
H Flathead V8 with all of the goodies including an ultra
rare vintage S.C.o.T. Supercharger topped with dual
Stromberg Carburetors, polished Eddie Meyer Hollywood
cylinder heads, polished Beehive filter housing, fuel
block, polished intake manifold, chrome headers, dual
glass pack exhaust and so much more. The chassis, 3
speed manual transmission and rear differential are
genuine Henry with the exception of a polished dropped
front axle, chrome front spring pack, chrome front
suspension and 40 Ford juice
brakes. Finally, "Wind this puppy up and it sounds like
no Flathead you've ever heard"...
Fun Fact: S.C.o.T. is the initials for
Supercharger Company of Turin, also known as
Italmeccanica Superchargers, was an imported blower from
Italy. The S.C.o.T. was one of the earliest
“Roots”-style superchargers available in the 1950s.
Now hop inside to a professionally sewn and very sexy
"Lipstick Red" Leather interior stitched over factory
seating. The instrument cluster carries the original 54K
mile gauge package with the exception of an updated pull
starter switch and under dash mounted "Stewart Warner"
winged gauge package...
In closing, if you have been looking for that just right
early Ford Phaeton, we believe it would be hard to
duplicate this unique combination of beauty, quality and
early speed equipment. So step right up, study the
detailed photos and feel free to ask questions. Sweet!
