Yep, genuine Ford equipped with incredibly rock solid
Henry Steel components. Quietly enchanting and
appropriately aged, from the genuine Schrader valves on
it's correct "Poppy Red" wire wheels to the straight
Black body w/correct tri line pinstripes, onto it's
Deluxe trim w/optional dual wipers and into the correct
cloth interior....
Resting on an older restoration estimated at 15-20+ years,
the dry as a bone original floor pans, body panels,
fenders and running boards will shock you (see undercarriage photos). Well preserved with an original style
restoration showing expected light patina/age, misc
flaws and welcome character...
She starts, runs and drives just like Henry intended
with its correct Flathead 221 CID 70HP V8 rebuilt by Coleman
Brothers of Maryland, Stromberg 97 Carburetor, 3-Speed
manual transmission, factory differential and mechanical
brakes. You won't win any races but you will get big
grins along the way...
In closing, there are not many old girls like this left,
this is the type of car you can enjoy just like it is
and/or maybe it's begging to become an old school style
Hot Rod with 40 style juice brakes, lowered springs,
tire/wheels and early speed goodies. Either way, it's
the real deal and affordably fun... |
