Keeping it simple, fresh out of Oregon and into Idaho with 33+ years of prior ownership, the current owner and early Ford specialist patiently waited 8 years for the opportunity to capture this gem. While he had purchased other early Ford's from this private Oregon collection, this one took a bit longer... Chassis/Power Train: Original 1934 V8 Frame 18-737268 131" Wheelbase. 1934 Ford Flathead V8 "221 cubic inch 85HP 21 Stud", factory Wishbone suspension, torque tube rear differential w/manual transmission and updated 1940 Ford hydraulic brakes for safety. Starts instantly, purrs like a kitten, shifts great, drives good and stops better... Body:* Well preserved Henry steel cab, from the original pinch welds at the drip rails to the bottom of the doors, onto the floor pans, into cab corners and onto the firewall, you will be very pleased. Exceptional Henry steel front fenders, hood components, grill/shell and running boards. Henry steel bed/floor/sides and correct non script tail gate with year specific fiberglass replacement rear fenders. Tastefully refinished in a basic factory Black (good to above average quality, better than original, not intended to be overdone)... Interior: Factory in style, fit, function and operation...
