Good honest Woody
Wagon's with solid patina are super hard to find and
they usually have their own character in one way or
another. I have always wondered if cars could talk, what
kind of story would they tell? In it's day, the newly
redesigned 1935 Model 48 Wagon handily outsold the Chevrolet
with production exceeding 4,500 units but only limited
numbers are known to exist today...
This particular specimen shows very well in it's current
presentation, showing good exterior hardwoods in well
preserved and/or older restored condition, the all Steel
body appears solid with a possible unknown older
refinish showing good patina and style. It appears as an
honest older preservation and/or restoration with inviting inquisitive
character and subtle safety upgrades combined with
excellent operating qualities...
The current keeper is a fastidious Ford collector who
has brought it up to snuff, it runs and drives like it
should. Items performed in recent years
include; new French stitched vinyl upholstery by Augie
of Costa Mesa, front dropped axle by Kennedy Brothers,
renewed Juice Brakes, new Radiator, new Speedometer, new
Wiring Harness, working gauges, new Gas Tank & Lines,
new Distributor & Plug Wires, new Water & High Volume
Oil Pump and a few coats of varnish. Other notes include
rare "Surf Rack" and Overhead Clock...
In closing, it is what it is, it's not perfect and not
new but you would not want this one any other way!
Please take the time to study the 60+ High Quality

great, runs cool and looks like the antique that it is. Drive It, Show
