California. Jim is well known as one of the industries
finest when it comes to custom metalwork and most notably,
his passion for 1936 Fords. This canvas took 10 years to
complete and as intended, every tedious modification is
designed to only enhance the flow of the factory lines
with a custom coach builder quality. With that said,

The body is all hand massaged steel with many
modifications that you may not even notice. The final
basecoat clearcoat finish on the body and chassis was
professionally applied by Ron Dune of "Street Rods by Rod"
Ukiah, California along with subtle pinstripes by Hutch.
Noted features include chopped top, flush mounted fenders,
custom front fenders with frenched 37 headlamps, custom
one piece hood (opens either side), custom hood sides
w/raised logo bolsters, custom "Grill-Art" grill, shaved
handles w/remotes, smooth running boards, custom extended/radiused
deck lid to enhance original body lines, custom front/rear
bumperettes, frenched tail lamps & license plate and I'm
sure I missed something...
The chassis is a Total Cost Involved "TCI" engineered
assembly that features fully independent front
suspension, polished stainless control arms, adjustable
billet coil-over F/R shocks, stabilizer bar, 4 bar rear
suspension, Ford 9" rear differential, power front Disc
brakes w/drum rear, braided stainless lines, Rock Valley
stainless fuel tank and rolling on polished Budnik wheels
with BFG radial rubber...
The powertrain features a dependable GM 350 crate engine
with aluminum Edebrock Performer RPM intake manifold &
4bbl carburetor, Caddy style air filter housing,
electronic ignition, billet belt drive & pulley system,
high capacity Matson radiator, Flex cooling fan & custom
aluminum shroud, Sanderson headers, custom rear-center
exit exhaust, high amp alternator, Enos starter and
transferring the power is a GM Turbo 350 automatic
transmission...
Moving inside, you will find a supple Gray Leather
interior professionally stitched by "Howdy Ledbeder"
including Glide Engineering seat (dual recline w/armrest),
seat belts, custom sculpted door/kick panels, headliner
and fitted trunk. Other features include Vintage air
conditioning, power windows, custom designed smooth dash
assembly, Dakota Digital instruments, Ididit tilt steering
with column shift, billet leather wrapped steering wheel,
billet shifter/knobs and under seat audio... |
