Yes,
you read the 35,000 actual miles* correctly. It's
uniquely rare to find such a specimen but it's an even
rarer occurrence when you can back it up with documented
manufacturer related provenance...
An amazing example of Ford History, this "Deluxe Tudor
Bustle-Back Sedan" spent over 32 years (1957 to 1989)
under the supervision of the Henry Ford Museum at
Greenfield Village located in Detroit Michigan...
Acquired by the collection in 1957 from Canada and
displayed until 1989 when it's de-accession was approved
by the board and sold at auction in June of 1989. The
running gear/drive train, interior/upholstery including
wood grain are original to the vehicle. During it's time
at the Museum it received a (1978-1979) correct
"Coach Maroon" exterior refinish. Other notes include
uniquely rare exhaust manifold heated windscreen
defroster and rear window sun shade...
Post collection; 2000, the original engine received a
professional rebuild. For safety, the current owner
updated the front suspension (2008-2009) with a dropped axle and
1940 Ford Hydraulic drum brakes installed by
Kennedy Brothers of So Cal. (original components
retained and included with sale)...
In
closing, you will find this a wonderfully preserved and
Ford documented original with a no excuses presence. Fun
and Affordable, the perfect addition to any size
collection. All documents included... |
