Whoa, got Wood? Recently completed, this beautiful wagon
spent several years enjoying a very thorough body-off
restoration/modernization. Retaining a wonderfully stock
"46" appearance, with just a twist of the key and a peek
under the hood, it becomes quite clear that this is one
you can drive and enjoy. Now listen up ;-)...
Finished in a deep Hawthorne green metallic PPG basecoat/clearcoat,
the beautiful body utilizes "All Original" 1946 trim
polished to perfection, new chrome
grill/bumpers/hardware and all new "Kline" wood kit with
21 coats of Captains Spar Varnish. Tight and quiet, all
interior panels/floor received sound/heat insulation
prior to assembly. Painstakingly assembled and hand
rubbed to perfection, the end product is simply
stunning. The level of tedious care and craftsmanship
speaks for itself...
The
chassis was stripped, boxed/reinforced and fitted with
fully independent "Hiedt's" Mustang II front suspension,
power Rack-n-Pinion steering, tubular control arms,
front stabilizer bar, power front disc brakes, braided
lines, parallel rear leaf springs, Ford 8.8 rear
differential w/drum brakes, stainless fuel tank and
rolling on deluxe trimmed "Vintique" steel wheels
w/Coker Classic wide white radials...
Let's
pop the hood, refreshingly "Powered By Ford", providing
a light rumble is a fine tuned late model sequential
multi port fuel injected 302 V8 (5.0), Motorsport dress
w/polished plenum, performance throttle body w/K&N
filter, billet serpentine belt drive system, billet high
amp alternator, ceramic coated headers w/custom dual
"Magna-Flow" exhaust, plug wire heat boots, aluminum
"Griffin" radiator w/polished coolant reservoir,
"Griffin" transmission cooler and "AOD" overdrive
transmission...
Now
it's time to cozy up, inviting you into the cabin is the
warming effect of finely finished hardwoods combined
with the teasing aroma of fine leather, your senses may
drift down a country road. Features include beautiful
wood-grain dash & garnish moldings, stock chrome dash
trim w/"TPI-Tech" gauges, "Flaming River" tilt column,
custom wood grained "CON2R" leather wrapped steering
wheel, Vintage Air Conditioning, adjustable "Glide
Engineering" front seat wrapped in supple high grade
leather, in-dash "Kenwood" AM/FM CD player, electric
wipers, "Ron Francis" wiring and all locking doors...
