Description

An incredible presence that's extremely enjoyable to drive and show, you will get plenty of attention with this beautiful one of a kind Woody Wagon. One must truly marvel at the forward thinking that goes into this level of creativity, not to mention the ability to see it thru to the finished product, a wonderfully planned transformation. Retaining much of its "Cadillac of Trucks" spirit, this prior Tillamook County, Oregon Model 509 service truck is far from it's original intended use....

All steel, retaining its original cowl, windshield, front/rear fenders, hood trim, grill and headlights but that's where it's stops. Countless hours of tedious fabrication include many hand built, re-formed or highly modified all steel body structure components. Features include factory windshield chopped 1 1/2", roof line to tail 1935 Pontiac, original working side cowl vents, original front & rear fenders  (reversed), hand made steel body structure/doors/rear gate & running boards. The exterior is hand finished with real "Walnut" hardwoods over steel skin, "Hartz" soft cloth roof/running boards w/Walnut roof trim and PPG Mocha-Tan body w/subtle fender/hood ghost flames...

Under the hood resides a well built and very drivable Chevy 350 350HP V8 that's force fed by a well tuned "Weiend" blower and "Edelbrock" 4bbl AFB Carburetor. Other features include, GM HEI Ignition, Serpentine belt drive system, aluminum radiator w/temp controlled cooling fans, aluminum Ram-Horn Manifolds w/custom dual exhaust, polished billet dress and 700R4 auto overdrive transmission..

Resting on an updated chassis, it all starts with a modified Dodge Dakota frame featuring custom fitted fully independent F/R suspension including 1988 Nissan Turbo 300ZX rear differential/trailing-arms/half-shafts/stabilizer-bar & shocks, updated adjustable air ride suspension, 4 wheel power disc brakes. Power Steering and and finally rolling on 17" Colorado Custom-Chromo Design wheels w/radial rubber...

Moving inside you will find plenty of style and creature comforts including dual power Audi bucket seats (driver/pass), power front windows, Vintage Air Conditioning/Heat, Cruise Conatrol, Tilt Steering column, custom Diamond T steering wheel, custom dash w/Classic Instruments & center console, Walnut interior trim, overhead Eclipse AM FM stereo w/4 speaker audio, modern Ron Francis wiring and battery disconnect. You get the idea, wicked, wild, functional and elegant, all in the same breath....
