warm "original" exterior/interior hardwoods have been
professionally restored by Ron Heiden which included one
new rear post, all new flat panel inserts and new rubber
exterior roof covering. The solid and rust free steel
body is finished in a deep maroon paint along with
glorious factory bright-work, grill, bumpers and fender
spears. The end result is an enjoyable originality that
cannot be duplicated. Not overdone and just right....
Peeking under the hood and between the "original"
chassis rails is a completely updated power-train. Power
starts with a "GM ZZ4" 350 4bbl V8 crate engine fitted with
aluminum intake manifold, GM Quarda-Jet carburetor, GM
HEI ignition, block hugger headers, modern serpentine
belt drive system, high capacity cooling, high amp
alternator, GM A/C compressor and polished finned engine
dress. Transferring the smooth quit power is a road
friendly 700-R4 automatic overdrive transmission and
Currie Ford 8" rear differential...
The "original-chassis" has been equally updated with a
host of modern amenities including Kugel IFS Phase-ll fully independent
front suspension, power rack-n-pinion steering, billet
control arms, adjustable coil-over front shocks,
stabilizer bar, aluminum front disc
brakes/calipers/backing plates, updated parallel rear
leaf springs, modern gas shocks, rear drum brakes
w/emergency brake, powder coated fuel tank, custom dual
exhaust, steel wheel wheels w/Deluxe wheel trim and wide

with supple maroon Leather over original factory seating
