"To some people I
may look as a has been, but folks with a
little more education know that my age
makes me rare... some have even called
me timeless. Besides, I've still got a
few surprises under my hood"
Doc Hudson -
tm Cars the Movie :)
Ok, here the rest of the scoop. The current owner does
not have many details about the history of this rare and
unique vehicle, other than it spent most if not all of
it's life in the dry northwest region of eastern
Washington State, Walla Walla Area (as evidenced in the
faded WA license plates). We have provided plenty of
detailed photos for your review...
Our inspection and current owner interview reveals that
it has sat and not operated for many many years. It
should be considered a AS IS - WHERE IS "Project"
with an honest & solid appearing original body and trim.
The body appears to be very solid with expected age,
good patina and appears to have been painted at least
once in it's service life, it does start and run with a
prime (very very old stinky gas - no major engine
noises observed), the original manual "Wet Clutch" works
only enough to run thru reverse or pull forward (pedal
very low), the dash is sweet (gauge or any other
operation unknown), 5 digit odometer reads 79,059, interior aged condition but looks to be all
there...
What else can I Say, except a great start for the
restoration or modernization of a rarely seen vehicle! |
