chosen by the owner who is a well known "Cowboy Artist and
Sculptor". From there, the pros took over and brought this
functional work of art into reality. The entire build was
managed by well known So-Cal restoration specialist "Bob
Baxter" of Lakeside, paint & body by "So-Cal Speed Shop"
of Santee & interior by "Benny Gonzales" of Santee...
The succulent and very smooth all steel body is
appropriately finished in a Mercedes Benz Iridian Silver
Metallic basecoat/clearcoat and the bed surface is
completed with exotic high end hardwoods (Sapelli: native
to Tropical areas of Africa). Yes, only 1,600 very careful
and easy miles...
A true "Resto-Mod",
light body/trim modifications/upgrades include tilt hood
conversion, shaved hood emblems, chrome 56' grill shell,
polished stainless bumpers, F/R bumpers moved in to
tighten the
gaps, all body/cab door jambs welded & smoothed, converted
one piece side windows, all new glass, smoothed cowl vent,
smoothed cowl firewall seams & hood hinge areas, all new

finished factory chassis fitted with TCI (Total Cost
Involved) IFS fully independent front suspension, power
Rack-N-Pinion steering, tubular control arms, power front
Disc brakes, rear drum brakes, custom fitted TCI (Total
Cost Involved) Four Link coil over rear suspension and
Ford 9" rear differential housing. Rolling on polished
billet Intro 17" wheels and Nitto speed rated radial
rubber (225/50R17 front & 255/50R17 Rear)...
"Power by
Ford", resting under the hood is a professionally rebuilt
302 4bbl V-8 fitted with smooth shifting C4 automatic
transmission. Components include mild camshaft, polished
aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold,
Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor, polished billet Serpentine belt
drive system, Ford electronic ignition w/billet wire
separators, polished Ford Racing valve covers, polished
aluminum radiator, custom fabricated/polished fan shroud
w/electric cooling fan, shorty headers w/dual exhaust,
stainless hardware, braided cables, polished A/C comp and
tediously hidden wiring assemblies...
