Wonderfully well done, not only with tasteful style but
superb functionality. Resting on a very thorough and
complete "3 year" nut-bolt body off restoration of
professional quality. GREAT attention to detail, fit and
finish with everything you would expect including the
drive. Let's take a spin...
Starting with an absolutely rock solid, rust free and
dry southern California built 210 Post body that was
completely removed from the chassis and the restoration
began. Nope, no body-mods here, the ultimate "Resto-Rod".
Every piece of factory stainless trim was removed,
categorized, straightened as needed and polished to
perfection. All exterior body panels were blasted to
bare metal and prepped whistle straight for a succulent
2 tone combination of late model color. Professionally
finished in 2003 Ford Toreador Red Metallic and Arizona
Beige Metallic (both pearl added) base-coat/clear-coat.
Other features include all NEW tinted glass, one piece
non-vent door glass and shaved F/R Bowties...
While the body was off, the "factory boxed" California
built chassis/differential received the same level of
attention to detail that included powder coating of
every suspension component prior to re-assembly with the
exception of the rear parallel springs. Features include
11" power front Disc brakes, 2" dropped spindles,
tubular upper A arms, 605 power steering, front
stabilizer bar, Roadster Shop rear stabilizer bar, rear
drum brakes, rebuilt conventional rear differential
w/331 ratio and rolling on polished American Torque
Thrust wheels with Michelin radial rubber...
Resting between those highly detailed rails and
providing the power includes a GM 350 330HP crate engine
with Vortec heads, polished Edelbrock intake
manifold/carburetor, HEI electronic ignition, chrome
Bowtie valve covers, polished billet belt drive system,
polished high amp alternator/AC compressor, polished
aluminum radiator, customized fan shroud w/aluminum flex
fan, heat coated Sanderson block hugger headers w/dual
rear exit exhaust, stainless compartment hardware,
hidden A/C heat lines and of course, 700R4 automatic
