well documented restoration of professional
quality, a thorough "Ground Up, Bolt By Bolt" restoration
performed by Merle Smith of Riverside California, completed in 1981.
It has been pampered, garage protected and
is just as flighty as ever! The current lady owner
received it as a "50th" Birthday gift in 1997 and has enjoyed every
twist of the key, now it's your turn to wrap it up... :)
In 2006, the owner chose to professionally rebuild the
original 312 engine (see receipt) and it has traveled
very few miles since that time. This is a very rare
originally built "E" Code 312 270HP 8V Dual Quad vehicle
that was toned down with single 4bbl carburetion at some
time in it's life. Starts instantly, runs great, steers
easily and drives like a dream...
In closing, classic cars like this are highly
collectable, cute, easy to
maintain and always a pleasure to drive. This little
honey is very tidy and whistle straight with absolutely
no excuses, you are sure to get plenty of attention.
