Factory to Hertz:
A radio was installed by Hi-Performance Motors (El
Segundo, CA). Shipped to Horn Williams Motor Co. Dallas, Texas
(3/17/66), arrived 3/27/66, for dealer prep prior to
delivery to Hertz (Dallas, Texas) who was invoiced $3,547
plus $105.55 for chrome Magnum wheels plus $45.45 radio
plus $20 pre-delivery plus $74.25 freight for a total of
$3,792.25.
Noted Dealer Repairs:
01/19/67 the brake linings, pads and retainers were
replaced.
Post Hertz Ownership
History: Sold to Charlie Hillard, Inc.
(Fort Worth, TX) 7/24/67. Purchased by Mrs. Lyon (Houston,
TX) '67 who put it into storage until '75. Inherited by
her son Larry Lyon (Denver, CO). Purchased by Bob Becker
(Littleton, CO) 3/86. Purchased by Mark Tomei (Sausalito,
CA). Purchased by Larry A. Randlett (Hilliard, Ohio) '93.
Purchased by Darwin and Janice G. (Riverside, CA) '04.

Current Owner Notes:
In 2004, the vehicle was purchased at the Mothers home of
the prior owner (Larry A. Randlett) Riverside, CA. Upon
purchase, the vehicle was stored until a restoration shop
and timing was selected. Early 2006, the Shelby was
shipped to Hal at Schoonover Restorations of Big Cabin,
Oklahoma for a complete rotisserie restoration and was
completed in late 2009. Since that time, it has been adult
driven, maintained as needed and always protected indoors.

documentation of related body repairs, of which, the most
relevant are posted within this ad, are included. During
the restoration, the selected driver was going to be Mrs.
G., subsequently a power dual
reservoir brake master cylinder and factory power steering
were added for her safety/comfort. Mr G. wanted Shelby 10 spoke wheels installed,
original's were located and restored to his liking. (no
take off parts were retained).
In closing, to the best of our ability, Spuds Garage and
the owner have invested several hours into honestly
documenting this very nice 1966 Shelby GT350H Hertz
"SFM 6S1312". Subsequently we have posted over
100 high resolution photos, 2 HD videos (including take
down video to reveal available numbers) and known detailed
history for your review. This should allow even the most
critical enthusiast to make an educated decision as to
whether or not this car is for them, if it is, ask us
specific questions and we will get you straight forward
honest answers. We can't possibly know everything about
every car and we are certain there are those that are more
knowledgeable. In the end, it is what it is and what you
