Part of the family for 25 years, this rig served the
family well on the property tending to horses, pulling
trailers to rodeos, 4-H events and everyday chores. It seemed only
fitting that it deserved a full-on professional body off
restoration in appreciation for its years of faithful
service....
The well known father and son team at J & J Rods and
Restoration of Greenacres, Washington performed this
amazing no expense spared restoration. Completed in
March of 2013, it is very fresh and sports less than 500 test
miles. The end product is absolutely stunning....
The original body was completely removed, disassembled,
soda blasted inside/out to bare metal and correctly
re-furbished with new sheet metal including bed floor, box-side's,
tailgate, buck board, cab floor with cab mounts, inner
and outer rocker panels, cab corners, and rear wheel
tubs. Whistle straight, prepped and primed to perfection, the
next stage was the application of a show quality factory "Medium blue
metallic/White two tone" PPG basecoat/clearcoat interior/exterior finish. The
final stage was correct "ALL NEW" CST Trim, Hardware,

The chassis and all related components also received the
same level of attention with a complete soda blasting to
bare metal prior to Powder Coating of the
frame, radiator support, battery box inner fender splash
shields and receiver hitch. Updated items include Bilstein Shocks, Energy Suspension
poly urethane bushings, restored leaf springs, Air Lift
Ride/Load Control air bags, Air Lift Wireless Air
onboard leveling compressor system with automatic
leveling system and wireless remote, hidden hitch behind
flip down license plate, GM rallye wheels and BF
Goodrich T/A 32 x 11.5 R15 LT Radial Tires...
Resting
between those highly detailed rails is a stout & stroked
