Here's a great early 70's short wide-side, looking
Cheyenne fine, restored in Kansas where it had a
complete and thorough body off restoration completed in
2008. According to the prior owner/restorer, a complete
nut and bolt restoration was performed where no bolt was
left unturned and everything was either new, rebuilt
and//or restored. Always kept covered and stored
indoors...
The body was a solid specimen with only cab items
commonly needing replaced were the inner/outer rockers.
In order to keep her super straight, the only other
metal replaced was the hood, passenger fender and
passenger door (all new "GoodMark" components). The rest
of the rig is original metal, no patch panels and limited
minor repairs. Finished inside and out with factory
colors medium olive and light olive metallic. All new
Trim, Window Trim & felts, Bumpers & Brackets, NOS (new
old stock) inner & outer grill assembly, emblems,
weather stripping, rebuilt wing vents and hood/door
bumpers. The end result, straight and tight.
Interior completely refurbished, ALL New carpet, hounds
tooth seat covers, door panels, firewall insulation,
dash pad, headliner, trim, ENTIRE "Dino Mat" Interior
(floors, back of cab, interior doors & firewall),
factory sound deadener & insulation. The end result
again is, the cab is extremely tight and the doors
fit right. Other features include NEW
Air Conditioning, all new switches & relays,
reconditioned wiring, CD player w/400 watt amp & 6
Infinity Speakers and more...
The powertrain and chassis has received equal attention
to detail and functionality, 350 Cubic Inch V8
completely rebuilt (30 over, remanufactured crank,
re-conditioned rods, new flat top pistons, Competition
H270 Camshaft w/variable duration lifters,
matching valve springs & high volume oil pump), Ceramic
Coated Headers, 2.5" Dual Exhaust w/ "Flowmaster"
Mufflers, polished "Edelbrock" Performer RPM aluminum
intake manifold & polished 600CFM Carburetor, "Mallory"
HEI Street Fire Ignition, 8.8 "ACCEL" Plug Wires,
rebuilt Radiator, all new hoses, belts w/stainless
transmission cooler lines, 700R4 Automatic Overdrive Transmission
(recent upgrade less than 1,000 miles ago), Power Front
Disc Brakes, Power Steering, 2"
Front Suspension Drop & 3" rear, new engine wire harness
and wrapped up with P275/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial Rubber
