This Fox body Ford Mustang "SSP" and/or Special Service
Package unit is a very nice low mile example. These potent
Mustangs were produced from 1982 to 1993 exclusively for
Police departments as a lightweight performance option to
the typically heavier full size Crown Victoria's. A tight
well built machine that Ford touted to municipalities as
"The Ford That Chase's Porche's
For A Living". They had many uses and are probably
best known for open highway use by the "CHP" California
Highway Patrol...
This known CHP unit (Car #5200) is very rare because of
it's extremely low 17K miles, known dry desert ownership,
original build sheet and original documents/key. The
current Yuma, Arizona owner has owned this beauty for more
than 24 years and it has always been protected/stored
indoors...
The low miles are attributed to an early accident that
forced its retirement and subsequent repair prior to his
purchase. The exact extent of the accident is unknown and
is structurally sound (see video and floor pan
photos/video) The only known changes are the upgraded Enkei
honeycomb wheels, rear spoiler and Pioneer AM/FM stereo.
Recently serviced, new tires, new struts/shocks, 4 wheel alignment
and A/C system service. It's a kick and ready to go
with all documents...

You... ;-) |
