Galloway" was handed the reigns when it came to preparing
the Brookville Steel body and its tedious modifications
including a custom pie cut firewall that moved the pedal
area forward 2" and an equally extended custom aluminum
hood by "Jack Hagman" (see video)...
Beginning with Deuce rails,
the custom built "Roy Brizio Street Rods" chassis
accommodates the above mentioned 2" forward firewall/hood
extension by moving the front axle forward equally.
Features include reinforced tubular structure, chrome
Superbell 4" dropped/drilled front axle, chrome hair-pins
& cross steer, Wilwood front Disc brakes, Superbell
backing plates, 11" drum rear brakes w/chrome backing
plates, Ford 9" rear axle housing and chrome ladder bar
rear suspension w/coil over shocks...
Properly prepared, fitted
and disassembled. 2016 AMBR Winner "Darrel Hollenbeck" was
handed the task of professionally finishing the body and
chassis in a very tasteful show quality "1963 Corvette
Saddle-Tan" metallic basecoat/clearcoat. Features include
"Sid Chavers" removable top, 1933 Ford commercial
headlamps w/turn signals, chrome chopped windshield w/peep
mirrors, working cowl vent and polished PS Engineering
kidney bean style wheels w/true knock-offs (15" front &
17" rear)...
Offering plenty of healthy horsepower is a formidable GM
ZZ-430 4bbl 350 V8 crate engine. Features include factory
balanced long block assembly, GM Performance aluminum
cylinder heads, GM aluminum 4bbl intake manifold,
Weber/AFB carburetor, GM HEI ignition, mini high torque
starter, polished high amp GM alternator, Walker radiator
w/electric cooling fan, HPC coated headers & custom
exhaust, chrome tailpipes and 14 gallon tank. Transferring
the power is a smooth shifting Tremec 5-speed
transmission, custom aluminum driveshaft and Ford Currie
9" True-Track 3.00 ratio rear differential...
Moving inside you will find the same level of professional
quality detail. Thread master "Sid Chavers" wrapped the
all leather interior in high-grade Saddle Leather with
bolsters, vertical pleats and chocolate piping. Features
include custom door panels w/map pockets, German square
weave interior carpet & trunk trim, aluminum steering
column & drop, leather wrapped aluminum steering wheel,
full Moon-Eyes instrumentation w/column tachometer,
Calvent heater and Hurst floor shifter...
