Capturing the true essence
of a traditionally styled 50's Hot Rod Roadster is
absolutely no easy task and that's exactly why this very
Prominent Early Ford Collector turned the reigns over to
the legendary "Roy Brizio Street Rods" of South San
Francisco, California. A simply stunning high boy roadster
that was created to emulate the "Vic Edelbrock Firestone
Roadster". Many hard core enthusiasts believe a true Hot
Rod should be driven and this ride is certainly no
exception to the rule...
Overall "style" and original "driving character" were a
must and of course, it all begins with the "Bones" utilizing
only period upgrades that were typically available during
this historic era. Beginning with an original 1932 Ford
frame with original K member, wishbones and enclosed
driveshaft (torque tube). The highly detailed chassis
features original 1932 front axle (non-dropped), 1956 Ford
F-100 steering box, original Lincoln 12" juice brakes
(hydraulic) and original 32 shocks (rebuilt)...
Powering this jewel is a
traditionally built 59AB Ford Flathead V-8 while
transferring the power is handed over to a 1939 Ford gear
box and road friendly original Columbia over-drive rear
end. Features include 4" crankshaft with 3 3/8" bore, mild Isky camshaft, aluminum Eddie Meyer cylinder heads,
aluminum Offenhauser intake manifold, dual Stromberg 97
carbs, Edmunds air cleaners, Crab type distributor, Walker
radiator w/32 Fan, 12V generator and Fenton headers w/dual
exhaust (Smitties)...
The all steel Brookville
trunk body is pure perfection in fit, finish and
presentation with professional paint by 2016 AMBR winner
"Darryl Hollenbeck-Vintage Color Studio", hand painted old
school lettering by "Bill Knight" and chrome plating by "Sherms".
Features include "rare original" Firestone spoke wheels,
restored Firestone hub caps, NOS radiator shell, original
grill insert, B-L-C headlamps, 37' tail-lamps, original
license plate and owner designed-hand built 2 1/2"
removable top trimmed by "Sid Chavers"...
The professionally trimmed
"Sid Chavers" interior brings back the same visions of
yesterday with period correct reproduction 32' Leather
type taupe textured fabric and square weave carpet.
Features include stunning Lincoln Zephyr steering wheel,
stock steering column w/tachometer, original instrument
tunnel, turned metal dash insert, Stewart Warner curved
face gauges, additional drop-down instrumentation
(volt/oil), stock 32' Ford brake/clutch/gas pedals and
E-brake...

the idea! This is a stunning and exceptional period style
Hot Rod built to perfection by "Roy Brizio Street
Rods" with
absolutely ZERO excuses. If you demand only the best,
