Ford Deluxe resto-rod convertible will stop you in your

thorough body off restoration-modernization on a known

The exterior body/fenders
are All Henry Steel and it is finished in a professional
quality Jet Black acrylic enamel. The body is whistle
straight and the panel fitment is excellent with no fender
welting required. A true resto-rod with all factory Deluxe
V-8 trim, windshield trim, wing windows, door handles,
bumpers and bumperettes. The factory top has had the rear
two bows cut 2" and it is wrapped in a burgundy Mercedes
Benz soft cloth material with glass rear window &
headliner to cut down on road noise...
The original factory Vin#
chassis was also utilized and reinforced as required
during the restoration. Modern updated features include
fully independent Heidt's Superide II front suspension,
tubular front control arms, power rack-n-pinion steering,
adjustable coil-over front shocks, front disc brakes,
Chassis Engineering parallel rear leaf springs, rear drum
brakes, gas rear shocks, Ford 8" rear housing and rolling
on 15" Boyd's 5 Spoke knock off style wheels with BF
Goodrich radial tires...
Resting under the hood is a
rebuilt GM 350 V-8 featuring mild performance camshaft,
dura-shine aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold, Edelbrock
650cfm carburetor, MSD electronic ignition w/external
coil, Griffin aluminum radiator, electric 2700cfm cooling
fans, aluminum water pump, Billet Specialties Tru-Trac
serpentine belt drive system w/AC compressor (not
connected), Sanderson Headers, dual Dyna-Max equipped
exhaust and polished Billet engine dress. Transferring the
smooth power is a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and
Ford 8" rear differential with 279 ratio (turns 2,500rpm
at 75mph)...
Moving inside, the factory
interior is wrapped in professional quality High Grade
Maroon Leather seating surfaces, custom door panels,
carpet and fully trimmed luggage compartment. Other
features include leather wrapped Banjo style steering
wheel, tilt feature with column shift, Classic Instruments
speedometer-combo gauges-column tachometer, clock, billet
knobs, Pioneer 4 Speaker Audio XM capable and I am sure we
missed something but you get the idea, ONE SWEET DROP TOP
