black plate specimen, this project slowly evolved into a

The
overall design and tasteful combination of colors were
chosen by the owner. From there, the pros took over and
brought this functional work of art into reality. Feature

The succulent, whistle straight and very smooth all steel
body is tastefully finished in a Medium Blue Metallic
basecoat/clearcoat. Just touching the surface, highlighted
features & modifications include custom 3" chop, custom
radius front windshield, stock rear window, smooth door
jambs, shaved door handles w/electric remotes, pancaked
hood, custom body color grill, shaved trim/bumpers, custom
extended 7' bed, smoothed tailgate, custom roll pan & oak
bed w/all stainless hardware...
Resting
on a professionally modified factory chassis custom
prepared by TCI at its own facility (complexly boxed,
reinforced, dove tailed front/rear & suspension fitment).
The completed chassis was then sanded, blocked, painted,
cleared, cut & buffed to match the exterior body. Features
include IFS fully independent front suspension, tubular
front A-Arms, power Rack-N-Pinion steering, stabilizer
bar, power polished Wildwood 4 Wheel Disc brakes, polished
Four Link rear suspension and Firestone Air-Bag system
with compressor & dual air tanks and polished Ford/Currie
9" with Summers Bros axles...
Providing
the smooth modern power under the hood is a 1st generation
GM LS-1 custom dressed by Turn Key Engine Supply and
matching GM 4L60E automatic overdrive controlled by a TCI
EZ TCU with hand held programmer fully tunable w/paddle
shift capability. Features include estimated 400HP, full
factory roller valve-train, dipped carbon fiber design
intake manifold, dual flow design Griffin radiator,
electric cooling fan, ceramic coated headers & exhaust,
DynaMax mufflers & Cherry Bomb tips, chrome head/coil
covers, hidden A/C heat lines, custom braided lines &

Moving
inside, the supple two-tone Buckskin "All Leather"
interior with blue French stitching, vertical pleats &
German square weave carpet was performed by Howard McKee.
