this beautiful Golden Hawk has received a high-end
restoration by a prominent and well known restoration
facility. Currently protected and preserved as
part of a prominent Texas auto collection. One of

Upon it's
initial completion, the car was driven to the
International Studebaker Meet in Charlotte, North
Carolina. At this event it won First place in its class
with a score of 385 out of 400. Points were lost (2) for
not original floor mats, (2) for spare wheel cover
(apparently it was sold without one originally), (2) not
original emblems on hub caps and (9) points were lost for
presentation. Given that they drove the car from Ontario
to North Carolina (12+/- HRS). The judges said it was
“dusty”. Even still, it placed higher than cars that were

noted, a "Johnny Lightning" die cast model for the 57
Studebaker Hawk was modeled after this "actual car" and
several of those die-cast models, trophies/awards and
documents are included...
