ST65-13680-Vin#136805Z113686 denotes this unit as an
original Custom V8 built at the Fremont, California
assembly plant. The body appears to have been
professionally finished in a very presentable period
factory Artesian Turquoise metallic color and the panels
fit well. The factory bed trim, bumpers and bright work
have all been re-plated or polished while the cargo bed
area remains solid with Rhino coated surfaces....
The
stance is just right, it has been lowered just a touch and
is equipped with new polished Billet Specialties "Vintec"
18" wheels fitted with Michelin ZR speed rated radial
tires (F 225-40/ZR18 & R 275-40/ZR18). Features include
factory power steering, rebuilt front suspension
bushings/etc, power drum brakes. This El Camino was
featured in Billet Specialties "Vintec" magazine ads (see
photo)...
Power
under the hood is a Chevy 350 V-8, aluminum Holley intake
manifold, rebuilt Holley 600CFM carburetor, HEI electronic
ignition, Accel super coil, polished billet valve covers &
matching air filter housing, chrome water pump & pulleys,
Hedman Headers and custom dual exhaust. Transferring the
power is a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and
conventional rear differential...
The
interior retains the column shift and factory bench
seating with Medium Turquoise padded dash, factory door
panels, factory instrument clusters, carpet and
re-upholstered seat. Everything is tidy, clean and very
fresh. The perfect all around cruiser, this is the type of
hauler that can be driven around town and/or to any
show/event with no excuses. In fact, the owners efforts
